What is pathology?

Pathology is a medical specialty that studies tissues and cells in order to establish a accurate diagnosis diseases. INOVIE AFRICA uses advanced analysis and imaging techniques to examine tissue samples taken during biopsies, surgeries or autopsies. Our main objective is to understand the nature and extent of the lesions or conditions in order tohelp doctors make decisions therapeutically informed.

Our services

Histopathological analysis

Thanks to our expertise, we use special staining techniques and high-end microscopes to examine tissue samples. We are able to diagnose various conditions such as tumors, infections, inflammatory diseases and autoimmune diseases.

Immunohistochemistry

We use immunohistochemistry methods to identify and characterize specific markers present in tissues. This allows us to differentiate between cell and tissue types, make more accurate diagnoses, and predict response to specific treatments.

Molecular studies

At INOVIE AFRICA, we are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies to perform molecular analyzes on tissue samples. These analyzes can detect genetic mutations, chromosomal rearrangements or alterations in gene expression, which helps guide treatment towards targeted therapies.
